My Birthday Gifts to Myself (All Ten of Them)

It’s my birthday month!
Every year, I treat this as an excuse to finally pull the trigger on things I’ve been eyeing, restock the things I can’t live without, and add a few things that are purely and unabashedly for fun. This year’s list is a good one. Here are ten things I gifted myself for my birthday, and why I think you should, too!
01. Lady Jacket
Lady jackets are everywhere for spring, and while most are in the soft, pastel shades of an Easter basket, this one spoke to my soul! As a True Spring, this bright, poppy red is squarely in my color palette. I love the texture and fringe detail, and it pairs well with casual and dressier items alike. We all need a piece that can elevate even the most basic items in our wardrobes!
02. Personal Fragrance
I’ve been on a fragrance kick lately, and these two have quickly become favorites. Rose Era is sparkling and feminine. It opens as a floral, semi-spicy scent and dries down into something beautifully soft. Our junior interior designer, Mia, brought Me on our company trip to London in January, and by the end, I had already added it to my cart. This is the one I reach for when I want something a little more subtle. I’ve gotten more compliments wearing these than anything else in my collection right now, and their staying power cannot be overstated.
03. Rich Cream
I’ve been seeing this all over my social media for over a year. I knew the price point was up there, so I wanted to wait until I could sample it in person. I tried it at Liberty London in January, and immediately understood what everyone has been talking about. The texture is unlike anything else I’ve used: it starts out very, very rich, but then as it activates with your body’s heat, it becomes smooth and glides on like satin. A little goes a long way! I’ve used it as part of my morning and nighttime routines for three months now, and I’m all in.
04. Décolleté Concentrate
If you’re over 40, you know. You wake up one day and realize you have a different face shape, no matter how on point your skincare game has been. Blame it on our phones, blame it on age, but I am fighting visible aging on my neck, and I’ll take whatever I can get! The texture of this cream is luxurious, and I’ve genuinely seen a difference in firmness and texture. I’ve also been using their resurfacing compound, and I can honestly tell you that I’ve seen the first indications of glass skin! It’s worth every penny.
05. Cleansing Whip
This one caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting much from a cleanser at this price point, but the texture is genuinely delightful, and my skin feels clean without feeling stripped. It’s become a non-negotiable part of both my morning and nighttime routines. A pea-sized amount is all you need, and at that rate, I should be finishing this tube around this time next year.
06. Microneedling Discovery Set
If you’ve been curious about microneedling at home but haven’t wanted to commit to a full device, this discovery set is your answer. Since my skin is sensitive, I only do it one day a week as part of my Sunday evening wind-down ritual, and I have really begun to look forward to it. I’ve even seen evidence that a microneeding roller on your scalp can stimulate hair growth in conjunction with Rogaine!
07. Choker + Bracelet Combo
I wear these together every single day because I love the look of a bracelet stack, but I hate a bracelet that becomes a hindrance to me using my keyboard properly. These are flexible and comfortable enough to wear all day. The great part is that they come with an extender and can convert into a choker!
08. Woven Flats
I will always be a flats girlie! But I also like for my feet to breathe as we move into the warmer months. Enter the woven flat. These are so cute, and with the bow detail, they’ve become a regular staple in my workwear.
09. Pearled Candle
I light this candle when I’m winding down in the evenings, and it sets the mood immediately. Created with scent pearls that allow you to be creative in how you use the candle for decor, this candle puts an end to throwing out unused wax!
10. Egyptian Rose Scent Story
My laundry smells incredible, and that means I smell incredible.
