As we approach our Sweet 16 birthday next month, I’m thrilled to share something that feels like a natural evolution of everything we’ve built together.
If you’ve been following our Instagram lately, you’ve probably noticed me sharing more of my personal style, favorite local finds, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of how I actually live. Today, I’m officially announcing that this isn’t just fun content. It’s the beginning of Rachel Cannon Limited’s expansion into full lifestyle guidance.
For years, you’ve been asking about my personal style - from what lipstick I’m wearing to where I got my dress to how to pull together that effortless-but-polished look. After 21 years as an interior designer, I’ve learned that the same eye that creates cohesive rooms can absolutely curate cohesive lives. So yes, those OOTDs and True Spring Tuesdays you’ve been seeing... They’re part of something bigger!
What You Can Expect
Today, I’m introducing you to Rachel’s Recs, my monthly online shopping curation, featuring fashion, beauty, and home finds that embody what I’ve dubbed the “New Prep” aesthetic (and what I consider to be my personal style). This month’s July edition launches with carefully selected pieces that transition perfectly from late summer into early fall.

All of this content is rooted in what I’m calling the “New Prep” aesthetic: a return to what authentic preppy style always was before performative “old money” trends took over. True prep was never about showing off wealth or labels; it was about quality, longevity, and understated confidence.
New Prep means investment pieces over impulse buys, blazers that work in boardrooms and backyard barbecues, and color palettes that flow seamlessly from your closet to your coffee table. It’s that magical ability to look polished without looking precious.
